Looking for a beach friend, single, couple, group, it doesn't matter

Last year wasmy first year at Gunnison, I loved it and I'm hooked! While it has been fun going I would like to find a friend or group of friends to hang with this year. Make, female, couple etc it doesn't matter just fun people to spend time with

I have been going to Gunnison for over 20 years and only met on person there one time. It is more fun if you are not alone but i still enjoy every visit. I just recently joinded this website and hopefully i will meet someone from here some day.

You do know that the beach is closed between 10p-5a, correct?
My two-cents is that it's fine to start conversation with folks both in the water and on the beach. Can't say I've encountered a rude or disinterested individual yet but I'm sure they're in the mix. The key is not to wear your welcome so say hello, engage in small talk, and try to get a feel for if they want you to stick around. If they do they'll usually invite you to move your location. If not, heck, you tried, right?
That said, conversation on a beautiful beach day is great, but it can wreac havoc on your tan if you're not paying attention. There's been times I'd get home to find only one side of my face got color (and too much). Word to the wise.
I love a peaceful beach day of full UV and solitude as much as one in a group of friendly people.
Besides, it's hard to catch up on ZZZs among the latter.

I have never been the kind of person to initiate contact but i am trying to change that by joining the website and meeting other members. NEVER SLEEP ON THE BEACH!!!!!!!!! OUCH

The key is using your phone for flip and lotion reapply alarms/prompts. Besides, sometimes I just need to rest between... uh, "meeting" others!
