Greece, anyone?

Hey gang,

i just booked my honeymoon to greece today (woohoo!) and we'll be leaving at the end of June! i know next to nothing about the local hot spots, nudist or otherwise, so i wanted to try my luck here and see if anyone had any suggestions? i've been looking online for nude/CO beaches in greece but so far the information is surprisingly scant. i'm hoping the real gems are more word-of-mouth or not popularly advertised across the net?

longtime gunnison fan, born and raised in jersey but only started going about five years ago. she's only been a couple of times over the last two years but we're both excited to venture out and explore any nudist or clothing optional locations in greece if there are any!!

any advice, suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated! i'm gonna go run with this honeymoon-high i have right now and plan my next trip to gunnison... now if it would only stop raining in jersey!

hey sun,

thanks so much for the info that was extremely helpful actually!! we'll be staying in crete on the northern shoreline and planning a short stay in santorini as well. really hoping to find these nude-friendly spots or just going bare on some secluded beaches (since they say it's pretty normal there) with my wifey-to-be! It'll be also great since it'll be our first time bare outside of gunnison, can't wait!

Glad to have helped.  I don't, unfortunately, have any first-hand knowledge to share.  Those sites were just found using a seach engine.

Greece

If you're looking for fully-nude beaches in Greece, Santorini & Northern Crete may not be the best bets.  

Personally, Naxos is a favorite of mine.  Even without nude beaches, it's a great spot.

thanks for the heads up and the link to cap'n barefoot... it's a pretty great resource! we'll be staying in crete for 7 days, any particular suggestions for things to do? "must do" activities?
