First visit of our third year coming to Gunnison and the day was beautiful. Made it to the the sand just before 8 a.m. and the sun felt incredible after the two hour + drive in. After a nice breakfast of a blue berry muffin & a banana my lady & I settled in with our books & crossword puzzles and spent the day relaxing, reading & people watching. The wind picked up in the afternoon but with some adjustments to the umbrellas/tent screen etc. we conitnued to enjoy our day. Finally around a quarter till 7 we made our way off the sand and back to the parking lot and began making the long drive home.  Hopefully we will be back in two weeks to continue to work on our tans and to recharge our smiles.  Smile

BigRed's reply was not to the original post(er)!!  The Lifeguard just recently deleted a bunch of spam posts advertising a whole bunch of who knows what.  That was what prompted BigRed's response.  And now the spam is gone .. but Red's reply is still there Big smile


How many other "threads" is this going to happen in .. LOL

I myself was there on the 16th.  Was the weather perfectSmileor what?  I got there a little after 9 and it did'nt take long for me to grin & bare itLaughing.  Did you notice around 1 when quite a few young men from the clothing side decided to stroll onto the non-clothing side?  They had on smiles & seem to get a kick out of us nudists like we were animals in a zoo.  I found it kind of RUDE.  Anyway, a pity we did'nt meet.  I HATE doing a solo act when visiting Gunny.  Maybe the two of you & I can meet & set up camp next to one another?  I'll gladlly share munchies.  Let me know if this good for the two of you.  Have a good week.  Bye now.  Jim.  P.S.  I LOVE crossword puzzles soooo much.
