Not really..

I usually go just to relax, but i don't mind if someone comes to talk to me as long as they're respectful. I went alone last weekend and some barely English speaking pervert decided to sit by me started playing with himself and asked if I liked it

I got up and left and notified a ranger on my way out.

Meeting New People and Making Friends

Smile Well as a divorced male its hard to meet new people on the beach. Many times I find a spot and spread out my things so other men can't just lay next to me or if I have the courage I'll ask a cpl or female if I can sit by them this way its easier to block the pervs who just walk around and stare. So with that I would like to met some new people just to hang with, maybe become friends and most of all enjoy the beach without being stepped on, cand kicked on me and of course the pervs staring! So if your ok with a nice guy who is there to relax, make friends and just have a great day of soaking in the sun and cooling off in the ocean please do write me.

P.S. By the way, last year when I went I asked two cpls if I could sit between them so no one had to deal with the people walking on their towels, pervs staring or their space being limited then please to get in touch with me!

Thanks

Smile I appreciate that and thank you. When are you going next?

meeting new people

Im a single guy and I usually go alone for a spur of the moment beach day. Everyone is always friendly but also seem reluctant to say hi to single guys. I respect this and try never to be pushy. I love meeting new people and making new friends. As most of us understand, Gunnison is not about sex. Just a thought to share: Not every single guy there is looking for a hook up. Take a chance and say hi, you never know, you might make a new friend!!

I know when I go alone guys

I know when I go alone guys don't say anything to me but I'll say hi. I do go a lot with my girlfriend and we always try to sit with other couples but the single guys come sit for a bit and move you can usually tell who is there for sun and who is a perv. I try and say hi to who ever is around me if they are a perv they will usually not say much and then move. I ace met some really nice couples and some nice guys as well as single ladies. Then again it is a friendly beach. I have been seeing a lot more clothed couples and groups this year. I don't care but some are very obnoxious.

hi

hello all Smile

New to all of this

Hello.  How are you?  This will be my first time at Gunny, and may be a tad nervous, but I'll deal.  Is there a Handicapped Parking close by?

Can you give me directions from Belmar Marina to Gunny Beach?

Thankf in advance for your help.

I was at Gunni once so far this Season, and although I didn't bare all, I think my clothes will fall off my next trip there. It was so peaceful laying on the sand, listening to the birds singing their songs, and enjoying the sun.

Love to get together

I am looking to meet new friends on the beach. I enjoy sun fun and then some , live life to the max. Count me in as a true friend. Hope to hear back from you.

Opening conversation.

Hi Sometan,

Hope you had a good work week.  I was busier then a one armed paper hanger!

I am in the process of trying to get a pass for Disability Parking.  Am bone on bone in my knee, so I can't walk too far!  Then I understand I need a Beach Pass too.  Is there anything else I need to know when I come down.  I live in Pa, so it's a long haul, and I want to make sure I have all my ducks in a row and not be refuded because I do not have something!

Looking forward to hearing from you.

P.S. I know I do not have a picture posted yet, but if you have one I'd appreciate it!  Thank you in advance.

Knee

You mentioned your knee. Please be a advised (although I believe someone else here already pointed it out) that the walk to the beach is quite long. This is no exaggeration: once your feet touch down on the sand, it's still a trek to the water. The park rolls out a long blue mat over the sand, but that only goes so far. A handicapped placard will certainly help you, but the walk--nothing can be done about that except to set up at the back of the beach. F.Y.I.

You pay as you come in or you can purchase a pass for the season . You may want to call the park or go on line for additional info. It is a long walk from the parking lots to the beach. On weekends it fills up fast and the limits fill up. You may have to get a handicap sticker . Love to meet you and yours. Keep in touch and let me know how things work out. Looking to having a fun time .

Yes, I called about the

Yes, I called about the Handicapped Passes yesterday, but I think they must have closed by the time I got a break in the schedule to return their call.  DRAT!  Oh well I will probably hear something on Monday.  I hope so I am really excited. I will most likely get the Season Pass.  I get the feeling everyone is so friendly there.  Maybe it's because they have nothing to hide!  HA HA HA!!!   I am really looking forward to this New experience, and making New friends.

I haven't heard from my Partner lately so I don't know what's happening there, but that will not stop me from doing what I want to do.

Do you have a picture?  I have to figure out how that is done as I am not that computer litterate!
